Welcome and thank you for visiting Peace in the Valley Lutheran Church online. We hope that our website highlights the variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor. We're located 8 miles west of Benson, Arizona. Exit at mile post 297 (J-6 Ranch Road) turn left (south) go about a half-mile. The church is on the left side of the road.
There is someone on site all week. Our Church secretary is generally here Monday through Thursday from 8:00 until Noon. Our Pastor is here Friday morning through Sunday around 4:00 p.m. However, it is still a good idea to call (520-586-3171) to ensure someone is on site before you come by. Pastor may be out making visits. Our secretary can also meet you at the Church most other times with prior arrangement.
We have mid-week Lenten and Advent services at 6:00 P.M. Everyone is welcome!
We have evening services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve.
We need a Music Director and people with musical talents!
Our Choir from the past. Many have moved away due to age and health issues.
Sunday morning worship
We have a "Cry Room" where the sermon can be heard over the speakers.
Practicing Covid-19 Safety
We practice social distancing and sanitizing. We do not mandate mask wearing and consider it a personal option. The Pastor and Elders wear masks and gloves when administering Holy Communion.
We resumed receiving Holy Communion at the rail on April 28th and leave it to the individual to set the distance they are comfortable with. You may stretch your arms in both directions to keep others at a distance comfortable for you.
Our cleaning service sanitizes each week and hand sanitizers are available in the Narthex and the restrooms.
